December 06 20102010-12-06A night-time outdoor gathering photographed from behind a crowd of seated attendees in the foreground, many wearing dark jackets, shawls and head coverings. Bright floodlights and a glowing light source illuminate a stage area at the far end, where a figure stands at the front of a raised platform, partly obscured by the crowd. The scene conveys a large public satsang audience in darkness with the speaker positioned at the front and bright illumination focused on the event area.2010-12-07A night outdoor gathering centred on a large bright fire burning in a pit at ground level. Dozens of people in white and light clothing sit or stand in a semicircle around the flames, some with hands raised toward the fire. Bright floodlights and a lit structure glow in the background against a dark sky. No individual can be clearly distinguished, and no one is identified by name.2010-12-06December 06 20102010-12-06November 28 20112011-11-28 +1 copiesA wide outdoor photograph of a crowd seated on sandy riverbank steps at a river confluence under a pale hazy sky. Many people wear white, pink and red clothing and white head coverings, sitting close together facing the water. Some wear white shawls over their heads. A distant boat and open water are visible along the shoreline.2006-01-08A large outdoor crowd fills a hazy, hilly open field under warm, glowing lights at dusk or night. Thousands of people stand densely packed together, many wearing light or dark clothing, with orange and yellow tones dominating the scene. Tall poles and tents are visible at the edges, and some large banners or flags stand above the crowd. Smoke or dust softens the distant horizon. The image looks like a mass gathering or festival assembly, and the individual faces are too small to read clearly.2015-08-15A small, low-resolution nighttime photograph of a lit outdoor scene with a few warm lights and a red-toned figure or structure at the centre, dark surroundings, and blurred shapes that are difficult to make out. Several small figures appear faintly in the background near the lamps. The image is too indistinct to confirm ritual details or identify any individual.2014-10-22A wide outdoor photograph of a crowded riverbank at a confluence, with many people seated in rows on the bank in the foreground, many wearing white and light-coloured clothing, some with heads covered. Beyond them, a broad expanse of water stretches toward distant boats and a hazy far shore under a pale sky. The scene suggests a pilgrimage gathering at the riverside, but no individual is clearly identifiable and no ritual activity is clearly visible.2006-01-08January 08 20062006-01-08A photograph of a crowded riverbank at the Triveni Sangam confluence near Allahabad, with a large mass of people in white and light clothing gathered at the water's edge under a hazy winter sky. Many figures wear white and pale shawls and some appear to be seated or standing close together on the shore, with a wide expanse of water beyond them. Individual faces are too small to distinguish, and no particular person can be picked out as a person from this distance. The scene is a pilgrimage gathering on the sangam ghats.2006-01-08January 08 20062006-01-08
