A photograph of a homa fire burning in a brick-lined fire pit in front of a large white-and-silver decorated Durga murti. The multi-armed goddess stands centrally with a lion beside her, flanked by smaller figures of Lakshmi-like and Saraswati-like deities, Ganesha in red and a green demon figure. Marigold garlands drape the murti and a brass bowl sits at the lower left edge. No people are visible apart from a partial arm holding a ladle-like implement at the left edge. The fire rises prominently in the foreground.
