Close framing of a ritual scene on a green mat over a sandy floor. Two men in saffron-orange dhotis with gold-bordered cloth stand barefoot. The left man holds a silver tray with small bowls and yellow flowers; the right man, in an orange dhoti with gold border, holds a long metal rod and a white and red-yellow flower garland, and is dropping petals. Before them lies a kolam of white, yellow and red dots and a row of wooden blocks scattered with yellow flowers. A microphone stand and a small table with a book sit nearby, and a woman in white with a red border is partly visible at left. The scene suggests a satsang-related puja.

Two people stand in saffron-orange dhoti-style garments with gold-bordered edges; the figure on the right wears a long white, red and yellow flower garland with red blossoms and bare feet. Behind them a microphone on a stand, a wooden book stand holding small books, and a folded orange cloth sit on a striped blue and red rug. Two terracotta bricks are arranged on the ground, decorated with white flower petals, yellow turmeric paste and coloured rangoli powder, and more bricks with flowers lie nearby. Other people in white clothing stand in the background. Visible hands and a small silver vessel suggest an offering rite. No face is visible, so no individual is identified.2010-12-16A photograph of a padapuja-style ritual on a plain concrete floor. A man in white ordinary clothes crouches low on the left, bending forward and placing white flower petals or rice on the bare feet of a standing figure in saffron-orange robes. A small metal plate sits near the feet, and a white powder circle is drawn on the floor to the right. Several other people in orange robes and white dhotis stand around the edges of the frame, and a garland of orange flowers hangs on a pillar at upper left. The feet being honoured are bare and the people are shown from the waist or knees down, so no face is visible.2011-05-23A photograph of an outdoor ritual under a red patterned canopy.
