November 13 20102010-11-13 +1 copiesA photograph of a seated figure in an orange-saffron robe with long, swept-back dark hair, wearing a gold necklace and a gold bangle, sitting cross-legged on an orange cushion placed on a low wooden platform, facing away from the camera toward a seated audience. A brass kalasha-style vessel with a handle sits on the matting in the foreground, and a yellow and orange marigold garland hangs on a post to the left. Behind them, about a dozen seated devotees in white dhotis and kurtas, plus one in a dark sweatshirt, sit on mats in an open courtyard beside red brick walls and a tree. The setting appears to be an outdoor temple-courtyard satsang.2010-12-28April 07 20112011-04-072011 - Photo AlbumFebruary 23 20112011-02-23A photograph of an outdoor ritual yard with sandy ground and scattered ash. In the foreground a man with long dark hair tied back sits cross-legged on a low wooden seat, wearing an orange saffron shawl and a dark rudraksha mala, eyes closed, hands resting over a brass kettle-like vessel. Behind him a second man in orange robes sits on the ground, and several people in white clothes with orange or red cloths sit further back amid smoke from a fire. Small green shrubs, a white building with a red door and a tiled roof sit in the background, along with a plastic water bottle and a folded mat.2010-08-08March 02 20112011-03-02November 13 20102010-11-13 +1 copiesJuly 20 20102010-07-20A seated man in an orange-saffron robe sits cross-legged on an orange cushion on a low wooden platform outdoors, with his right hand raised in a gesture while his left hand rests on his lap. He has long dark hair, a red tilak mark on his forehead, a dense gold bead mala with ornate gold chains, and gold bangles. A small brass vessel with a spout sits on the ground to his left. Behind him a man in white dhoti and shirt carries a drum with a strap, and orange-painted stone structures and a stone deity murti stand in the background among palm trees and shrubs. The probable Swamiji cues are the long swept-back hair, saffron robe, and ornate gold mala; the scene reads as a teaching or puja setting.2010-12-28Outdoor photo of a seated man in an orange saffron robe and dark rudraksha mala, viewed from behind, sitting on an orange cushion on a paved courtyard. A brass kalasha-style vessel with a spout rests on the ground in the foreground beside a wooden platform. Facing him, a seated audience of roughly fifteen to twenty men wearing white shirts, white dhotis and some in plain shirts sits on mats in front of an orange wall with white-painted pillars and green plants. The setting suggests a guided meditation or satsang session. The seated figure has long dark hair pulled back, and his appearance is consistent with a possible a person candidate, though the rear view makes it uncertain.2011-02-20June 05 20112011-06-05
