He has long dark hair, a rudraksha mala with beads around his neck, and a tilak on his forehead, and he raises one hand in a blessing gesture while smiling. Two men in white shirts and dark trousers stand behind him holding long wooden poles that support the canopy. A flame burns at the lower left edge of the frame, and a figure in white sits at the bottom right beside a small brazier. The appearance-based label Swamiji (probable) applies to the central figure, who wears saffron robes, long hair, rudraksha beads and blesses the scene from a ceremonial seat.2005-05-25Article - What is initiation?Photo 11733729July 28 20122012-07-28January 13 20132013-01-13 +1 copiesSeptember 16 20122012-09-16September 15 20122012-09-15 +1 copiesFebruary 20 20122012-02-20a person seated on a gold-and-velvet throne before a large gilded halo-shaped backdrop, speaking with one hand raised in a gesture.
