May 24 20052005-05-24A photograph of a seated man with closed eyes and a broad smile, wearing a white turban, white shirt and a white dhoti-style wrap with gold-brocade borders. Multiple dark rudraksha mala strands hang across his chest, with a gold pendant at the centre. A red tilak mark is on his forehead. He holds a long metal staff in his right hand, while his left hand is open in front of him. Behind him, a red and teal fringed umbrella is held over the seat, and two people in saffron-orange robes stand nearby, with a red and white cloth draped above.2005-05-28 +1 copiesMay 22 20062006-05-22A man with long, swept-back dark hair sits on a golden, ornate seat in a procession setting, pressing his palms together in añjali mudrā with a smile. He wears a saffron-orange robe, a white-and-red flower garland, and a gold bead necklace, with a red bindi and white forehead markings. A leopard-print shawl drapes over one shoulder. Behind him stand tall pink, green and blue tassels and a yellow flower garland, and orange velvet covers the seat's lower edge. Cues suggest a person figure, presented as the central honoured person of the procession.2010-02-12Photo 11727263May 24 20052005-05-24A seated man in an orange-saffron silk wrap sits on a leopard-print mat in an outdoor courtyard, wearing a long dark rudraksha mala across his chest and holding beads in his hands. He has long swept-back black hair and a white vibhuti mark on his forehead, and turns his head to speak. Behind him stand three men in white dhotis with gold-bordered shawls and gold necklaces; one holds a small dark tablet and a pen. A brick wall and sunlight fill the background. The seated man's long hair, saffron wrap, rudraksha mala and ceremonial gold necklaces on the standing men form distinctive visible cues of a probable Swamiji presence, while the man is not otherwise identified.2011-05-24June 04 20062006-06-04April 14 20122012-04-14February 27 20112011-02-27 +1 copiesA seated man in a white turban and white top, wearing a leopard-print wrap and multiple rudraksha mala necklaces, holds a long pole and a brass oil lamp with a visible flame, with a red tilak on his forehead. Behind him, saffron-robed devotees stand near gold and red decorated umbrella-style canopies with tassels, and a blue-and-white striped pole stands in front. Brass plates and small lamps sit on a table in the lower right. Swamiji (probable): his white turban, rudraksha malas and distinctive leopard-print attire are visible cues for the presented identity, while he holds the lamp in a ceremonial role.2005-05-28Outdoor ceremony on a riverside platform with orange marigold petals scattered on a teal patterned mat. A man with long dark swept-back hair, a red bindi and white ash markings, wearing a saffron-orange dhoti and shawl, rudraksha-style beaded and silver bead necklaces, and a gold armlet, raises one hand in greeting while holding a silver trident. He stands before a silver-trimmed seat draped with a leopard-print cloth. In the foreground a bald man in orange robes faces him holding a flame lamp. Around them devotees in white and orange kneel and stand with palms pressed together, including a boy in white with a red bead mala, a few women in white and red-bordered saris, and a standing man in a white shirt. A gold ceremonial staff with a sun-disc finial and a red-and-orange flag appear at the edges. The man in the centre matches the a person cues of swept-back hair, a trident-bearing role, saffron and ornate beaded dress, so the visible presence is an appearance-based candidate.2013-02-13
