A dense street procession moves through a town lined with corrugated metal roofs and small shops. In the foreground, many men in white shirts and dark trousers press forward, several wearing glasses, with one older man in a cap at centre. A blue-and-white bus on the left carries a large banner showing a smiling bearded man in a yellow turban and white garment, with printed text reading Nithyanandaa Centre for Metal Works. Behind the crowd, red and orange flags and white flags flutter, and uniformed police officers walk among the marchers. Strings of small white and blue pennants stretch across the street. Several more framed portraits of the same turbaned man are carried above the crowd, and a sign on the right shows another portrait.
