His dark hair is swept back into a knot at the nape. A thin wooden stake stands vertically beside him on a dusty ground. Behind him, a long white building with a corrugated roof and dark doorways stands across an open dirt yard, where a few people in white clothes walk. Probable Swamiji (long swept-back hair and saffron wrap), shown as an in-person figure in this scene.2007-08-01August 01 20072007-08-01Close-up photo of a man with dark hair parted in the middle and a red tilak mark on his forehead, eyes closed, one hand raised to his cheek in a contemplative gesture. He wears a saffron-orange shawl draped over his shoulders. Blurred green trees, a hill and a pale building form the background outdoors.2008-11-28A man with long, swept-back dark hair stands barefoot on dry, open ground with scrubby grass, a rocky hill, palm trees and a fence behind him. He wears an orange saffron wrap draped over his shoulders and arms, with a sleeveless orange garment beneath, and a red tilak mark on his forehead. His hands are folded at his chest. Fresh pit-like holes and scattered debris, including a plastic bag and leaves, lie near his feet. Appearance cues: long swept-back hair, saffron clothing and a tilak; probable Swamiji (probable) standing alone outdoors.2010-02-04August 01 20072007-08-01A man stands outdoors on a sandy ground with shallow circular fire pits and ash-marked dirt, with a concrete slab at left. He wears an orange saffron wrap draped over his shoulders and body, a long rudraksha mala hanging across his chest, and a red tilak on his forehead. His dark hair falls to his shoulders, and his right hand rests on his chest. Green foliage and a small patch of scattered pink petals appear in the background. Swamiji (probable): the saffron wrap and long swept-back hair with rudraksha mala match the described candidate, though the identification is appearance-based only.2010-08-06A man with long, wavy, shoulder-length black hair stands outdoors in a loose, sleeveless orange cloth wrapped over his shoulders and torso, his left hand on his hip. He wears a red bindi on his forehead and looks off to the side. The background is a blurred pale building, greenery and a sandy open ground.2006-10-10
