A man in a white kurta and glasses bends forward to receive one, a small boy in a red shirt beside him bites into a banana, and a young man in a black shirt smiles and folds his hands. Behind them a bare-chested attendant in an orange cloth and beads holds a banana, a man in a white shirt films with a camera on a tripod, and a man in a white kurta holds a phone. Gold-edged red carpet covers the floor, and a gilded throne-like backdrop is visible at right.2016-04-27A seated man in an orange-red robe with a long garland of yellow and white flowers and a rudraksha mala sits on a low seat before a white curtain, with a trident (trishul) standing behind him. His bare feet rest in a brass plate being washed in a padapuja. Devotees kneel around him: a bald man in a white dhoti with a gold border and rudraksha beads, an older man with glasses bending forward with hands folded, a young boy in a red top with hands joined, a woman in a light sari with hands folded, and a woman in a white sari with a red border. Saffron-clad young attendants stand nearby, and a wooden tray of apples sits to the side. The scene is a padapuja, a devotee house-visit ritual.2014-07-07 +1 copiesApril 23 20172017-04-23January 12 20072007-01-12
