A night-time ritual scene on a dark cloth mat. A devotee kneels at left, wearing a heavy garland of red, yellow and white flowers over an orange garment and gold bangles. Beside them a shaved-headed man in saffron clothing and a beaded mala sits. At right, a bare-chested, grey-bearded priest with white sacred ash on his forehead and arms and a rudraksha mala kneels, holding a brass tray of bananas and coconut halves. Standing devotees in white dhotis and cream shirts surround the group, and a person at far right wears orange cloth. The setting appears to be a temple gathering.

A photograph of a temple ritual in progress. A figure with long dark hair, wearing an orange-red sari and a thick garland of yellow and purple flowers, sits cross-legged on a patterned mat and holds a brass tray of fruit, bananas, coconut pieces and lit camphor-like offerings. Beside them, a man in orange robes with a shaved head and gold neck ornaments sits with palms joined. Several people in white dhotis and white kurtas stand behind with hands folded, some wearing yellow shawls and rudraksha or bead necklaces. A bare-chested priest in the foreground with a green bead necklace extends his hand toward the tray. The scene suggests a puja or aarti at a temple, with devotees watching attentively.

Indoor ritual scene on a dark cloth-covered floor. A man in orange robes with a shaved head, orange-and-red sash, gold chain necklace and a tilak sits cross-legged on the left, holding a fruit tray with bananas and coconut. Beside him a woman in a red sari sits draped with a thick garland of yellow and purple flowers. Another person in orange robes with a rudraksha mala sits nearby, and several men in white shirts and dhotis sit or kneel on the right, along with a bald elderly man in white with a green beaded necklace holding a small vessel. In front is a gold tray holding sliced bananas, halved coconut pieces, and red-tinged offerings. Behind and around them, several men in white dhotis and shirts stand and kneel, one in an orange-and-gold cloth wearing a rudraksha mala, and a bare-chested man with a shaved head kneels nearby. A cameraman with a video camera stands at the right edge. The setting appears to be a temple interior with a patterned carpet on the floor.

A photograph of a seated figure with long dark hair, wearing a maroon-red robe and an orange-and-red floral garland, extending one arm forward to bless a man in white dhoti and shirt who sits with palms joined in namaskar and a red rudraksha-style mala. Beside the seated figure, a young shaven-headed monk in maroon robe with rudraksha mala holds a small plate of red fruit. Around them, many men in white shirts and dhotis, some in orange cloth, sit or stand close together on a floor scattered with red and white flower petals. A man at upper center holds up a camera. The setting appears to be an indoor hall with wooden windows and light coming through.
