A figure in saffron-orange robes bends forward with hands joined at a heap of rough stones topped by a dark stone deity murti draped in red cloth and garlanded with white and red flowers. Around them, a large crowd of women in white and pastel saris sits or stands, many with hands folded in prayer, and a man in white dhoti sits at the front with brass offering plates and flowers nearby. A woman in a white sari on the right photographs the scene with a camera. Approximately twenty people are visible. The a person candidate is the saffron-robed figure bowing; the appearance is not clearly distinctive enough to confirm identity.December 20 20112011-12-20Outdoor photo at a ceremonial inauguration site. A priest in saffron-orange robes with a shaved head and a flower garland holds a flaming lamp or camphor flame over a decorated altar. The altar is draped in teal cloth and covered with white flower garlands, and it holds a black plaque with a framed portrait and printed text. Behind it is a large decorated arch with a bright yellow and orange circular backdrop, with brass oil lamps on the right. Three devotees stand to the right with palms pressed together in namaskar: one in white with an orange shawl, one in white, and one in an orange sari-style garment. The scene reads as a puja or arati ceremony.2006-11-12May 19 20082008-05-19
