A photograph of a ritual abhishekam at a shrine decorated with gold foil and purple-edged panels. A figure in orange robes with long dark hair and dark beads stands on a red mat, raising a bundle of green leaves in one hand while holding a copper vessel in the other. A brass lamp stand wrapped with white and yellow-pink flower garlands and a coconut stands at left, and a dark bowl holding a flame is held at right by a person in white clothing. A coconut and leaves sit on a plate in the foreground.2005-07-21A figure with long, swept-back dark hair and a red mark on the forehead stands barefoot in an orange sari with a gold border, wearing a white and red jasmine-and-marigold garland. The figure holds a silver censer or arati lamp from which smoke rises, performing an arati ritual. Beside them stands a tall brass oil lamp (deepam) with ridged stem, and brass vessels and oranges sit on the ground. Behind is a canopy hung with yellow, red and white flower garlands, and a man in orange and white attire is partly visible at the lower left. The figure's appearance with long hair, orange clothing and rudraksha-style adornment is consistent with Swamiji (probable), shown as in person performing arati. Outdoor temple setting with a corrugated roof and palm fronds visible.2007-01-01December 25 20082008-12-25 +1 copiesDecember 28 20082008-12-28A photograph of a long-haired figure in an orange-saffron robe with a gold-bordered wrap, standing on a raised platform and performing an aarti with a burning flame in a metal dish. A white and red-flowered garland hangs from the neck, and the figure wears a rudraksha mala and gold necklace. Tall brass lamps stand in the foreground beside a brass vessel decorated with yellow marigold garlands, and fruit and flowers lie on the ground. Behind the platform hang strings of yellow, red and white flowers and garlands. Two men in orange and white stand at the edges of the frame. Set outdoors under a tin roof, the scene suggests a temple puja.2007-01-01A man in orange robes wearing a multicolour garland of yellow, white, red and purple flowers stands on a white platform beside an ornate copper-coloured ritual pillar wrapped in white cloth and orange cords. He holds a brass lamp in one hand and a brass bell in the other, performing a puja. The pillar is hung with garlands and scattered with flower petals, and a tall palm tree stands behind him.2009-12-23March 02 20112011-03-02December 23 20082008-12-23August 19 20182018-08-19A photograph of a ceremony under a tent with a metal roof and bare bulbs.
