A man with long, swept-back dark hair wears a sleeveless saffron-orange garment with gold border, standing in profile and holding a brass oil lamp with a lit flame near banana leaves and a green backdrop. Behind him, another person in orange robes holds a plate of flower petals, with a thatched roof and a gold-ornamented shrine visible at left. The scene suggests an aarti or lamp offering at an ashram setting.2008-08-01December 25 20082008-12-25 +1 copiesMarch 02 20112011-03-02January 25 20092009-01-25March 02 20112011-03-02December 20 20112011-12-20A man with long, dark, swept-back hair stands under a decorated canopy hung with marigold, yellow and red garlands. He wears an orange-saffron robe with a gold-bordered shawl and a white and red flower garland around his neck, and holds a lit oil lamp in a small metal dish with a flame. To the right, another man in a dark shirt holds a silver bowl. Green banana leaves and a striped tent roof are visible behind. The appearance matches the Swamiji cues of long hair, saffron clothing and garlands, and the page indicates he is present, so this is a probable identification in an aarti-style offering at a celebration.2007-01-01December 28 20112011-12-28December 20 20112011-12-20March 02 20112011-03-02 +1 copiesA man with long, swept-back black hair and an orange saffron shawl over his shoulders performs aarti, holding a brass aarti lamp with a lit flame in his right hand and a brass bell in his left. A red tilak mark is visible on his forehead. Behind him, a dark tree trunk and another hand holding a bell are partly visible. The setting is dim, with smoke rising from the flame.2006-12-10A figure in an orange-saffron robe with long, swept-back dark hair and a multi-strand gold bead necklace holds a brass vessel in one hand and a flaming lamp in the other, with fire rising near his face, beside a tall yellow-painted linga with a flower garland on top and a brass oil lamp to the right. Two men in yellow shawls stand at the lower left, partially visible. The setting is a temple interior with a dark background, consistent with a linga abhishekam.2010-02-12
