A man in saffron-orange robes with a wide gold border and a long gold-bead necklace stands on a brown runner, holding a red fruit in one hand and a small box in the other, smiling. Behind him a bare-chested robed figure is positioned nearby. A man in a white shirt bends low with palms together in reverence while another man in a checked shirt and a man in a yellow-check shirt with a lanyard watch. Two men in white dhoti and shawl attend beside a tray of offerings. Behind them a golden deity murti or altar with red decorative elements and a blue curtain forms the backdrop. The orange-robed man has a tilak and long swept-back hair, with distinctive saffron and gold ceremonial cues, supporting an appearance-based a person identification.2011-02-25February 25 20112011-02-25 +1 copiesA man in orange robes sits on an ornate golden throne with lion-head armrests, wearing a white floral garland with red flowers and a rudraksha-style bead necklace, bracelets on his arms, and a flower crown, smiling. A man in a white shirt and dark trousers bows low and touches his feet on a patterned red carpet. To the left, a man in a white shirt holds a red cloth, and a bald man in orange dhoti and shawl stands with palms pressed together. Behind them, painted colourful pillars and deity murti figures with a trident and a golden kalasha-like ornament frame the stage.
