A man with long dark hair and an orange robe sits cross-legged at left, holding a white cloth or leaf-plate in both hands above a brass and silver puja tray set with a covered silver dish, small bowls, a lamp and a copper cup. Behind him a microphone stand stands on the ground. At right, a carved silver arch frames a black stone murti in orange garments, garlanded with red flowers and white jasmine, beside a seated deity figure with a gold-and-white decorated headdress and hooded serpent canopy, also draped in orange and garlanded. The base is rough dark stone.2005-12-20Outdoor photo beneath large trees at a forest clearing. A man with long dark hair, wearing orange saffron robes and a rudraksha-style neck garland, sits on a white cushioned seat behind a microphone stand, facing left and speaking. Nearby, a dark stone statue of a seated deity wears an orange cloth and a white flower garland, with an orange-robed figure seated on a rock-and-stone platform before a small shivalinga-like form, and a stone serpent coils around the base. A patterned mat and a plate with offerings lie on the concrete platform. A blackboard on an easel stands at left, and a few people's legs and bags appear at the bottom left edge.2005-12-15Outdoor photo under a large spreading tree beside a silver-framed arch. A seated man in orange robes with long dark hair sits on a red-and-green rug, holding a small object over silver ritual vessels, a covered silver dish, a brass lamp and a copper cup. Behind him, a Shiva-form murti in orange cloth and flower garlands stands on a rocky red base, and a seated deity murti wearing a silver crown and red-and-white garlands sits at the base of the arch. A microphone stand is visible at left. The scene suggests a puja or abhishekam setting, with the seated man performing offerings before the murtis.2005-12-20A photograph of an outdoor shrine set among trees. A priest in orange ochre robes and an orange turban stands with his back to the camera, hands folded in worship before a shrine. A large stone heap sits inside a coiled black-and-white serpent-shaped base, decorated with marigold garlands and yellow flowers, with a deity murti partly visible behind it in a gilded arched niche. Offerings on a woven mat in front include brass plates of bananas, flower petals and a small oil lamp. The circular red-and-white platform is surrounded by green foliage.
