A multicoloured umbrella canopy is carried above the group. Robed sannyasis in saffron and orange lead the procession, several with shaved heads or long beards. Devotees in white and pastel kurtas and saris walk along, many with hands folded in namaskar. Garlanded portraits or murtis are visible at the back in the distance.2009-01-02A photograph of a group walking along a dirt path through a green ashram grounds on an overcast day. In the centre, a long-haired man in a saffron orange robe and sandals walks forward holding a white rod, with a second person in saffron beside him. Behind them are men in white dhotis and white shirts with orange shawls, and a woman in an orange sari. On the right, an older man in white clothes and an orange shawl walks while holding a mobile phone to his ear. Green shrubs, trees, a green metal gate and a utility pole line the path.2006-09-21March 11 20132013-03-11A photograph of a dirt road lined on both sides by a large crowd of devotees watching an event at a rural ashram site. Many men and women wear white ritual clothes, while others wear coloured saris and shirts, including a girl in an orange and white striped dress in the right foreground and a man in a light blue checked shirt. A wooden fence runs along the left, with a purple cloth screen and a striped canopy behind the crowd. Overhead, utility wires cross a cloudy sky. A central figure in white walks down the middle of the road, and no clearly identifiable a person is visible.2008-07-17December 30 20092009-12-30March 02 20132013-03-02A photograph of a group walking barefoot along a dirt path past a green hillside and a two-storey orange and white building under an overcast sky. A woman in a flowing orange sari with a rudraksha mala around her neck walks at the centre, one hand raised. Around her, men and women in white dhotis and kurtas wear yellow shawls, some with red-beaded malas, and a shaven-headed man in an orange robe walks nearby. The setting appears to be an ashram grounds with a red metal post and wires at the left edge.2010-06-13March 02 20132013-03-02
