A seated speaker in an orange saffron robe and orange turban reads from a printed sheet into a microphone at a wooden lectern beside a carved wooden lion. Facing him, a large group of devotees in white clothes sits on the floor on blue and striped mats, with brass plates of food before them. Some are eating or sorting items from plates. Behind them, older attendees sit on chairs, and a woman in a white sari with gold border sits at the back. Wooden pillars and a green floor fill the hall. The speaker appears to be Swamiji (probable), identified by his orange robe and turban and central position as speaker, with the wooden lion and microphone marking him as the teacher.2004-06-03June 03 20042004-06-03 +1 copiesA photograph of a seated congregation inside a plain, pillared hall with a tiled floor and large windows. Most attendees wear white clothing with saffron-orange shawls draped over their shoulders, and several sit on wooden chairs while others sit cross-legged on the floor. A standing figure in white with an orange scarf stands near the back right by a pillar. The scene shows a satsang-style gathering of devotees listening to a discourse.2005-05-252004-FIRST-HIMALAYAN-YATRAJune 03 20042004-06-03 +1 copiesMay 25 20052005-05-25 +1 copiesAnnadhan in 20092009-01-01 +1 copiesA photograph of a seated satsang gathering in an indoor hall with a ceiling fan. A figure in orange robes with long dark hair sits on an ornate decorated seat at the left, speaking into a microphone, with an orange and gold canopy behind. Large numbers of devotees in saffron and orange clothing sit cross-legged on the floor facing him, many with shaved heads, and some women in white or pale saffron saris sit among them. Plywood panels behind the speaker are marked with the letters R.P. and an orange decorated backdrop frames the stage. Cameras are visible at the lower right.2005-05-25Annadhan in 20102010-01-01 +1 copiesA three-panel collage of photographs from a seated discourse hall. The large lower panel shows a crowd of several hundred people in white clothes seated on mats in rows, many wearing lanyards, with a stage area at the front. The upper-left panel shows a bald man in orange robes holding a microphone and speaking. The upper-right panel shows rows of men in white shirts and lanyards seated closely together. A row of colourful hanging decorations spans the top of the hall. Two small paragraph-style captions and a logo are overlaid. The collage shows the event's sessions, with the speaker in orange as the main visible figure.2009-06-17A two-part photo from a seated discourse hall. The large main image shows a dense audience of several hundred people, mostly women in white clothes, seated on the floor in rows and some with hands pressed together in prayer or meditation. Paper lanterns in yellow and red hang from the high white ceiling, and there is a wall clock at upper left. A smaller inset at right shows a speaker in an orange-red turban and orange robe with long dark hair, a rudraksha-style garland and a raised finger, speaking into a microphone against a bamboo backdrop. The inset figure is a candidate for the a person appearance cues, but the face and presentation are not clear enough to confirm, so the identity is uncertain.2009-06-17Annadhan in 20102010-01-01 +1 copies
