Night photograph of a temple-courtyard puja at the Sri Maheshwara Temple, lit by strings of warm lights. A large deity murti with a white halo-like backdrop and multiple arms stands behind a decorated platform heaped with fruit, brass vessels and lamps. A man in a saffron-orange dhoti and shawl stands at right, gesturing with a ritual object, while another figure in saffron sits on a throne-like seat near a shrine with a flower garland. Dozens of seated devotees in white dhotis and shirts fill the foreground, watching. A banner on the right shows photographs and text. The scene reads as a ritual worship gathering.
