In the centre, an older woman in an orange sari reaches forward with her hands, while a woman in a maroon sari holds her palms together and a man in a white shirt bends forward offering flowers. Behind them, others in white and pastel clothing stand with folded hands. The scene suggests a darshan or blessing line during a procession.2006-10-23January 08 20172017-01-08A crowded evening scene of devotees gathered outdoors near a building with pink-painted walls. In the foreground a woman in a red and gold silk sari with a red bindi and dark beaded necklace presses her palms together. Beside her an older woman in glasses and a pink patterned blouse holds a silver oil lamp with a lit flame, while a young man in an orange robe with a rudraksha mala and a white vibhuti mark on his forehead extends a hand toward the lamp. Several other devotees in white shirts and saris stand around, some with raised hands and tilak marks, and a small child is visible in the background. A long-haired man in an orange garment with a yellow border, bare-shouldered, places his hand on the head of a devotee; his distinctive long swept-back hair and orange robe are the appearance cues for a probable Swamiji. Beside him a shaven-headed man in orange robes holds a silver tray with offerings. In the foreground, women in saris and a woman holding a baby with folded hands and a young child stand watching. Behind them other devotees and attendees are visible near glass display cases. The scene suggests a blessing or darshan line.2011-02-20A photograph of a small indoor puja with a group of women and girls gathered around a lit brass oil lamp (deepa) held on a stand, with flame visible. A young man in white clothing and a rudraksha mala stands at the right, holding a small brass bell and gesturing toward the lamp. Among the women, one wears a white sari with a gold necklace, another wears a pink floral dress, and a girl in a yellow top and yellow shawl stands nearby. An older woman in a light green sari and a girl in the lower left watch the lamp. A wooden panelled door with brass studs is behind them.2010-01-01Devotees stand outdoors under leafy trees with hands joined in anjali mudra.
