December 31 20092009-12-31December 31 20092009-12-31Photo inside a temple sanctum of a priest in a rust-brown dhoti and matching shoulder cloth, with a long dark braid and a brown turban, reaching to adorn a deity murti with a dense garland of yellow, orange, red and white flowers. The murti is gilded and decorated with green stone-like ornaments. On the left a young attendant bare-chested with a rudraksha mala holds a silver plate. Another attendant in a red turban stands behind him, and a gilded deity figure in red and gold garments stands at the right. The priest's pose suggests padapuja or alankaram; the clear visible ritual is garlanding the murti.2016-12-14December 31 20092009-12-31A photograph of a temple ritual in front of a golden deity murti pair, one decorated with a crown and jewelled garlands. Two men in orange clothing stand at a golden kalasha-like pot wrapped in colourful flower garlands in yellow, pink, purple and red. The man on the left wears a long orange robe and a beaded mala and holds a small vessel, while the man in the centre wears an orange sleeveless top and reaches to touch the golden pot. Garlands of red, pink and yellow flowers hang around the shrine, with a jewelled offering and a gold-trimmed base below.2009-12-23December 17 20112011-12-17March 10 20132013-03-10March 03 20112011-03-03July 21 20102010-07-21December 31 20092009-12-31December 27 20092009-12-27March 03 20112011-03-03
