A man in a saffron robe with a long beard stands at the upper steps, while a woman in orange sits on a lower step. Young men in white dhotis and a white-clad priest, one with a yellow shawl, prepare a ritual near brass pots and a kalasha-like vessel with leaves and a small brass lamp on the floor. On the right, men in white carry a framed portrait garlanded with orange and yellow flowers, and a woman in white with an orange shawl bows her head before the offerings. Several onlookers in saffron, white and bright saris stand along the steps watching the puja.2008-09-28Outdoors in bright daylight, a figure in orange saffron robes with an orange turban and long dark hair stands with their back to the camera, receiving a brass tray from a man in white kurta and white dhoti with an orange sash. The tray holds a small brass pot with green leaves and a coconut, a ritual offering. Around them a crowd of men in white shirts and light clothing gathers near a black iron gate and dark green foliage. A man in the foreground bends forward, and a few onlookers hold up hands in greeting.2011-05-24December 23 20082008-12-23January 16 20182018-01-16Outdoor photo in a garden shrine area with red-and-white painted stone enclosures, a dark stone deity murti in a small arched niche, and a seated figure with orange cloth and a garland near a brass vessel. A man with long dark hair in an orange dhoti and orange shawl stands barefoot on a grey stone slab, looking down. Beside him, a man in a white dhoti and shawl stands by a white-covered table holding a small brass bell and items, while a bald man in white bends forward to make an offering. Potted plants, a green signboard on a stand and tall trees surround the scene under a pale sky.2011-09-08September 28 20082008-09-28
