He wears a long rudraksha mala and white markings on his arms and chest. The altar is draped in deep red cloth and set with rows of decorated brass and copper kalasha pots wrapped in colourful fabric, topped with green mango leaves and coconuts, with flowers and banana and fruit offerings below. A framed deity image and a small murti sit at the back beneath a large painted banyan tree backdrop, with brass oil lamps on either side. The figure is a priest performing puja; the page's a person mention is not visibly confirmed by the figure's appearance, so the candidate is uncertain.2024-04-14A photograph of a ritual in a hall with striped multicolour floor mats and dark maroon curtains. In the foreground, a grey-haired man with folded hands and eyes closed sits beside a man in a cream turban and white dhoti, and a shaved-headed man in white dhoti with folded hands sits at right. Two priests sit shirtless with cream turbans and white dhotis, facing a gold-coloured square homa or abhishekam vessel. Trays hold cut green fruit, lotus-like pink flowers, bundles of sticks, coconut-like pieces and brass vessels, with oil lamps and brass lamps nearby. Behind, seated women in green, yellow and red saris sit near a gold ornate throne with a pink-and-gold canopy, and a decorated banner hangs on the right.2026-02-14 +1 copiesJuly 04 20172017-07-04A shirtless man with short greying hair and a beard stands at left in a white dhoti with gold border, holding a brass tray of pink rose petals and a rudraksha mala across his chest.
