June 22 20122012-06-22 +1 copiesIndoor photo of a devotional gathering in a plain room with a white wall. A bare-chested man with long swept-back dark hair, wearing orange and maroon cloth and a beaded rudraksha-style necklace, raises his right palm in blessing toward a kneeling man in a red-and-black checked shirt, who presses his palms together. Around them, several men in white dhotis and shirts, one with orange shawl and vibhuti marks, stand with hands folded in namaste. A shaven-headed man in orange with gold beaded garlands stands at right, and a bearded man in black shirt stands in the background. A white flower garland and ritual objects are visible at lower right. Whether the central figure is a person cannot be established from appearance, so the description uses his role instead.2011-02-28A photograph of a devotional blessing at an indoor event. A man in a saffron-orange robe with a long rudraksha mala and a gold-toned necklace stands center, smiling, with his palm raised above the head of a young man in a blue shirt who has his hands pressed together in namaskar. Beside him, a bare-headed priest in an orange-and-gold shawl with a red tilak and gold necklace stands near the line. An older man in white on the left also folds his hands in prayer. Several other people in white and light clothing stand in the background, with a yellow-and-blue banner visible at the top. The central figure has long swept-back hair and distinctive saffron robes and mala, consistent with Swamiji (probable) performing a blessing as a sannyasi.2011-02-28 +1 copiesFebruary 01 20132013-02-01February 24 20112011-02-24A photograph of a temple or ashram interior where a bare-chested priest in red dhoti and red shawl, with a long dark ponytail and a yellow garland, faces a bald man in orange saffron robes with hands pressed together in greeting. On the right, a man wears a tall orange turban and a light orange wrap, speaking with an open-mouthed expression toward an older man in a white shirt on the left, who has a moustache and a tilak on his forehead. Behind them, a younger man in orange with glasses and a rudraksha-style mala stands attentively. A partly visible shaven-headed man in orange sits at the far right edge, and a bald man is partly visible at the left edge. Walls and a speaker are in the background.2011-12-10A photograph in an indoor hall with white walls and a ceiling fan. A central figure in saffron-orange robes, wearing a long white and red flower garland, a rudraksha-style necklace with gold pendants and a gold armlet, stands with hair tied up in a bun and a white tilak on the forehead. An elderly man in a white shirt and white dhoti bows with hands pressed together toward him, while an older man in a cream shirt smiles nearby. On the right, a bald man in an orange and gold shawl holds an orange cloth with a brass object. Several onlookers stand in the background. The appearance-based label is a person for the central saffron-robed, garlanded figure receiving the devotee's respect.2012-09-12July 25 20122012-07-25February 25 20112011-02-25June 22 20122012-06-22 +1 copies
