Outdoor photo under a large spreading tree in a sandy courtyard. A barefoot man in a flowing saffron-orange robe walks forward with palms pressed together in anjali at the chest, long dark hair falling loosely. A woman in a white sari with a white head covering stands at right beside a chair with bags and a small device on a striped mat. In the foreground a concrete circular platform holds a dark carved wooden serpent head with pale patterned scales, and a metal bowl with an offering sits at lower left. A black cable runs across the sand.2005-12-15July 21 20052005-07-21 +1 copiesDecember 26 20082008-12-26November 20 20062006-11-20A man with long, swept-back dark hair and a red tilak on his forehead stands barefoot in an orange saffron robe with a gold bead necklace, palms pressed together in anjali. A crowd of men and boys in white dhotis and shirts, some with tilak marks, stands beneath large banyan trees. A boy in a red patterned sweater joins his hands in front. Clay pots with offerings sit at the bottom edge. Swamiji (probable) is identified by appearance cues: long swept-back hair, saffron robe and gold bead necklace, standing as the central figure leading the ritual.2005-12-31A photograph of a single man standing barefoot on a curved white-painted platform beside a large old banyan tree with thick aerial roots. He wears a flowing saffron-orange robe draped over one shoulder and has long dark hair, a rudraksha-style necklace visible at his neck, and he leans forward with one hand resting against the trunk. A strand of yellow and magenta marigold garland hangs on the left edge near the base of the tree. The setting is an open dusty courtyard with white walls and a few pillars in the background. Swamiji (probable) is shown in appearance: long swept-back hair, saffron robe and a rudraksha-style necklace, though the candidate is not clearly identifiable.2010-02-12November 20 20062006-11-20December 15 20052005-12-15November 20 20062006-11-20July 07 20092009-07-07July 11 20062006-07-11November 10 20112011-11-10
