A photograph outdoors beneath a large banyan tree with many hanging aerial roots. A man with long, swept-back dark hair and a red tilak on his forehead stands barefoot with palms pressed together in namaste, eyes lowered. He wears a saffron-orange dhoti and shawl with maroon borders and a rudraksha mala around his neck. Beside him, a golden base holds a garland of white, green, orange, red and purple flowers and fabric. Behind him, other people in orange robes and a man in white stand on teal mats near a white-covered seat. The appearance matches a person with several cues, but the identification is uncertain, so this is a probable depiction of a person in person at the Aadhi Peetha Deepavali celebration.2006-10-21 +1 copiesJuly 25 20072007-07-25Outdoor procession at a temple-style yagna event.
