July 24 20052005-07-24July 24 20052005-07-24Photograph of a group walking through a dim, pillared stone hall, with an open central passage and dark columns behind them. In the centre, a man in a flowing saffron-orange robe with a long swept-back hair and a multi-strand beaded necklace walks forward, while beside him a man in white kurta and an orange shawl wears a pendant necklace. Around them, devotees in white and orange clothing, a woman in a pink and grey top and light blue trousers, and a man in a green shirt with a lanyard follow. Several people are visible, some wearing saffron and white attire. Tile floor and dark arched entrances frame the scene. Distinctive saffron robe, long hair and beaded necklace may be Swamiji (probable), walking at the front of the group.2006-01-07August 02 20082008-08-02July 24 20052005-07-24Night photograph of a crowd walking outdoors, with dim lights in the background. At the front right, a long-haired person in saffron/orange robes wears a white and red flower garland and rudraksha beads, with a white tilak on the forehead, smiling as they walk. Beside them a young boy in white shirt and white dhoti wears a dark pendant on a cord. In front, a man in a white checked shirt and white dhoti with gold border walks with glasses. Behind them, other men in white and grey shirts and a bearded man in white follow. The saffron-robed figure carries the flower garland and rudraksha cues that align with the page's a person reference, so the appearance-based label is probable.2005-07-24Night procession through a dimly lit temple corridor lined with large carved stone pillars and sculpted figures. In the centre, a figure with long dark swept-back hair wears a saffron-orange robe and a long dark rudraksha mala, walking barefoot with hands joined in front. Beside and behind, several saffron-robed sannyasis follow, one young sannyasi in orange on the right. A white-clad man with a dark mala and gold wristwatch walks at left, and a man in a striped shirt and white trousers walks beside them. Uniformed security or police personnel in khaki stand nearby, and a few more people are visible in the background.2008-07-28April 15 20082008-04-15A photograph inside a stone temple corridor with carved pillars and tall monolithic columns decorated with carved animal figures. In the centre, a man in an orange-saffron robe and matching orange turban walks forward, wearing a long gold-beaded mala necklace. Around him, men in white dhotis and shirts walk alongside, some wearing ribbon badges, and a woman in a yellow-orange saree stands to the right facing a young boy in a yellow shirt. A man in a blue shirt and white dhoti stands at the far right, and a man in white sits near the pillar on the right. Several people in white are scattered across the hall, with a man in a white shirt in the left foreground. The corridor stretches into the background lined with iron grilles and lamps.2007-08-17Night photograph of a temple courtyard with pillared pavilions and a lamp post in the background. In the centre, a figure in an orange-saffron robe with a long swept-back hairstyle and a white and red flower garland walks with hands joined in greeting. Beside him, a man in a white shirt and cream dhoti with a gold border, hands folded in namaskar, walks forward. Behind them a young person in a green kurta and white churidar and several other men follow. On the right, a man in a black shirt carries a woven basket of flower petals, and a priest in an orange dhoti with a waist cloth stands at a pillar. Swamiji (probable): the central figure in the orange robe shows long swept-back hair and a saffron garment with a garland, which are the qualifying cues for this presentation.2005-07-24Photograph taken at night inside a temple corridor with stone pillars and fluorescent lights.
