Photograph taken at night inside a temple corridor with stone pillars and fluorescent lights. A central figure in saffron-orange robes wears a long multicolour flower garland with yellow marigolds and a gold-chain necklace, with a white tilak on the forehead. Around him, men in white dhotis and shirts and others in orange shawls and saffron robes walk closely together, with a crowd visible behind. Scattered devotees and staff fill the background.2008-08-02August 02 20082008-08-02A photograph of a temple corridor at night, with stone pillars and hanging lamps overhead. At centre, a man in a saffron-orange robe and a large garland of yellow and red flowers walks forward, with a gold pendant necklace and a tilak mark on his forehead; he has shorter hair and is not shown with the long swept-back hair or crown of the typical depiction. He is flanked by devotees in orange shawls and white dhotis and shirts, one carrying an orange cloth, and a man in a white shirt and dhoti with a white forehead mark stands at the right edge. Several other people in white and orange follow behind in the crowded procession. Given the uncertain appearance, the central figure is treated as a devotee in a procession rather than a confirmed identification.2008-08-02July 28 20082008-07-28April 11 20122012-04-11July 24 20122012-07-24Photograph of a group of saffron-robed Hindu monks and attendants walking barefoot through a dimly lit temple corridor at night. In the foreground, a bald man in orange cloth and a gold-bead necklace walks beside a man in orange with a long gold garland and an orange angavastram. A man in white dhoti with gold borders and a rudraksha mala walks near the centre, and an older bald monk in orange wraps his face and torso with an orange cloth. Behind them, men in white and a woman in white with an orange shawl follow, and a man in an orange-and-red striped shirt stands at the right beside a bright light source. Garlands and flowers are visible at the left edge. The central figure, with long dark swept-back hair, wears an orange dhoti with gold borders, a rudraksha mala and a gold ceremonial necklace. Beside him, a bald man in orange robes holds a folded cloth, and an elder with white-tilted forehead marks and a white head wrap wears a gold necklace and orange cloth. Men in white dhotis and shirts stand along the sides, some with folded hands, and a tilted-head figure in white at right is also present. Hanging lamps are visible overhead.2012-07-24May 21 20122012-05-21July 13 20092009-07-13A barefoot procession moves through a dim temple corridor at night. A central man wears an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl with gold trim, a long gold-beaded necklace, gold armbands, and a red tilak on his forehead; he appears to be the focus of the group. Around him, men in saffron robes wear rudraksha malas, and a man in a white kurta carries a tall ceremonial staff topped with an ornament. Others in white dhotis and light shirts walk alongside, some with rudraksha beads and tilak marks, while a man in a teal shirt with a mala follows at right. The stone floor and pillars suggest a temple interior.2012-04-11A photograph inside a temple corridor with stone pillars and a colourful painted ceiling.
