A red and multicoloured canopy with tassels hangs above, framed by white and purple flower garlands, with a large white-and-yellow flower garland draped over his shoulders. Before the throne stands a silver pedestal with red flowers, bananas and a brass kalasha-style vessel below. Two women in white saris stand to the left, one holding a lit oil lamp, and decorative swords and a trident-like staff decorate the scene.A seated figure in saffron-orange robes and a long rudraksha mala sits on an orange-cushioned throne with hands joined in namaskar, hair long and swept back. Devotees in white and yellow-bordered saris and white clothes kneel and sit around him, some holding lit oil lamps and offering trays of flowers and fruit. Behind him a red and gold shrine is decorated with marigold and colourful flower garlands, and a deity murti stands in a carved niche at right.
