A large banyan tree dominates the scene, its wide spreading branches and many hanging aerial roots forming a dense canopy over a cleared, sandy ground. Its thick trunk is surrounded by several white-painted circular raised platforms with red soil, and tall pale grey poles stand around the enclosure. Smooth grey rocks sit in the foreground. No people are visible in the scene, apart from a tiny distant figure at the far right edge.

Close-up photograph of a branch of a banyan tree with three broad, glossy dark green oval leaves and small green fig buds clustered at the stem. The leaves are pointed and show pale midribs and veins. Blurred green foliage and bright sky fill the background, with a thick bough visible behind the leaves. No people are present.

Close view of the textured grey trunk of a large tree, with a wide buttress rising on the left, a dark knot and lichen patches on the bark, and a bare thin twig extending across the frame. Behind it, a dense canopy of green leaves is lit by scattered sunlight, creating small bright patches. No people or ritual activity is visible.

A group of about two dozen devotees stands on a dark polished stone platform in front of a large banyan tree with many hanging aerial roots. A yellow and orange marigold garland hangs on the trunk. Most people wear white: men in white kurta-style shirts and dhotis or trousers, women in white salwar sets, a cream sari with a gold border, and white shawls. A man in the centre-right wears an all-white outfit with a gold-coloured necklace, and a woman in a purple and blue patterned dress stands at the right edge. Several people hold their hands together in greeting, and a few wear rudraksha-style beads. Trees and a low brick wall form the background.

A large banyan tree with thick, spreading grey branches and dense green leaves fills the frame. Its aerial roots hang down and grow into a round, whitewashed concrete platform encircling the trunk, set on bare reddish-brown earth. Foliage and sky are visible through the branches; no people are visible in the scene.
