Night outdoor gathering at a temple-side event with a crowd of devotees in white and light clothes. On the right, a man with long swept-back hair in an orange saffron robe sits cross-legged on a red and patterned mat before a gold-patterned backdrop, with his hands resting on his knees while a woman in white kneels nearby offering flowers. In the centre, women in saris, including one in a maroon blouse with a braid and one in a yellow-and-blue sari, press their palms together in namaste. A small child in pink stands at left. Strings of bulbs and triangular pennants hang overhead. Several people wear white dhotis and shirts, and a few wear rudraksha-style beads. The swami-like figure's identity is uncertain from appearance alone, so it is described by role only.
