A photograph taken at dusk or night under a large banyan tree with spreading aerial roots and branches overhead. On a dirt ground, a group of about seven people in orange robes and white clothes walk across the frame. A man in the center wears an orange robe and a rudraksha mala and has a white beard. Beside him, a figure with long dark swept-back hair wears an orange robe. Further right, a man wears an orange robe, an ornate gold necklace and an orange shawl. Several people in white dhotis with orange shawls stand behind them. A shallow dark reflective pool of water lies on the ground, and a metal pole stands in the foreground.

A dimly lit night photograph of a group walking across a dark open ground toward the left. In the foreground on the right, a man in an orange saffron robe, orange head wrap and a long beaded rudraksha mala walks alone with his head lowered. Behind him, a group of about eight people in white dhotis and white shirts or kurtas, several with orange shawls draped over their shoulders, walk in a loose line. A tall illuminated lamp post stands at the left edge. The scene is mostly dark with faint lights in the background.

Night photograph on a dirt path beneath dark trees, with leafy branches framing the left and right edges. In the foreground a bare-chested man in an orange cloth wrap walks toward the camera, with dark swept-back hair and a ceremonial marking on his forehead; the page notes a person at this event, but his appearance alone is not sufficiently distinctive to confirm, so he is described by role as a devotee in orange. Behind him several people in white clothes and orange shawls walk in procession, one woman in white carrying a small lit oil lamp, and another person carries a red cloth bag. A red-painted mound or offering area with stones is visible in the background near a dim lamp glow.

Night photograph outdoors beneath a large dark tree at an ashram. A barefoot man in a long orange saffron cloth walks forward with eyes lowered and a red tilak on his forehead, his shoulders bare, his hair long and swept back. Behind him, several people in white clothes with orange shawls carry a lit oil lamp and a red woven basket. On the right, a person in white kneels near a small red-draped altar and a brass vessel, while a deity murti in orange cloth sits on a red-and-white decorated base. Faint hanging roots and a lamp-lit ground frame the scene. a person: the walking figure in orange has long swept-back hair, a saffron cloth and a bare-chested ascetic presentation, but the appearance is not conclusive enough to confirm identity; the scene shows arati-style offerings with a lamp.

Outdoor photo under a large shady tree at dusk, with warm low sun flaring through the branches. Several saffron-robed sannyasis stand on a dirt path facing a group of young men dressed in white kurtas and dhotis with yellow shawls and rudraksha malas. A bald monk in orange drapes stands at the centre, palms together, while a bearded sadhu in orange and red robes stands to the right, and another in orange robes stands at the far right edge. Behind them a stone pillar, a low stone-walled pool and standing men in white and grey clothing complete the scene. The group appears to be welcoming visiting swamis. Roughly fifteen to twenty people are visible.

Night photograph of a barefoot procession walking along a tarmac road lined with dark trees and a street lamp. Many devotees in white dhotis and white kurtas or saris wear orange sashes, some carrying small lamps. A central figure in a full orange robe and orange shawl walks at the front centre, flanked by others in orange cloth. Children in white with orange sashes walk among the adults. The road has a white centre line and a red warning light is visible at the left edge.
