Night photograph of a bearded man standing at the centre, hands pressed together in anjali at the chest, gazing upward. He wears a rust-red-brown dhoti and upper cloth with gold border, a multi-strand rudraksha mala with a large gold pendant, and a long garland of white, yellow, pink and green flowers with a tassel hanging to his waist. A red tilak marks his forehead. Behind him stand other figures in orange and brown garments, one holding a tall golden staff at the left edge, with a crowd faintly visible in the dark background. Appearance-based label: a person, wearing rudraksha malas, gold ornaments and a flower garland, standing in a procession.2016-09-05September 05 20162016-09-05 +1 copiesA man stands in folded-hands namaste with a long garland of white jasmine and orange and red roses around his neck and shoulders, wearing a rust-brown draped cloth and rudraksha malas on his arms and chest. A sandalwood tilak marks his forehead. Behind him on the right, a man in cream dhoti with a gold-bordered shawl stands beside a large drum, and on the left a person in orange cloth holds a tall golden staff while another holds a brass plate. Smoke or incense haze fills the dim night setting with a crowd behind. The scene reads as a ritual gathering. Appearance-based cues: long swept-back hair, rudraksha malas and garland, but no crown, throne or ceremonial gold necklace visible, so identity is uncertain.2017-10-19December 02 20172017-12-02September 05 20162016-09-05 +1 copiesMay 24 20182018-05-24September 21 20172017-09-21September 21 20172017-09-21July 18 20162016-07-18A smiling bearded man stands outdoors in the evening with both hands pressed to his chest, wearing a deep maroon-red garment draped over one shoulder and a gold-coloured waist belt.
