A man sits cross-legged on a low orange cushion placed on a woven mat, hands folded in his lap, wearing an orange-saffron robe with a small red bindi on the forehead and long dark hair swept back. A brass pot stands on the mat before him, inside a circular ring of grey ash or sand bordered in terracotta. To the left, a large black stone Nandi bull sits on a red-orange pedestal. Behind are palm trees, frangipani shrubs and small grey deity murtis along a low wall. The scene reads as a meditation or yoga session. The figure matches the Swamiji (probable) appearance cues of long swept-back hair and saffron clothing, shown in person.2011-02-12February 24 20112011-02-24February 24 20112011-02-24A seated man in an orange saffron robe sits cross-legged with eyes closed on a low wooden platform inside a circle of ash, on a paved courtyard. He wears long dark hair tied back, a rudraksha mala with beads hanging on his chest, and holds his hands in a meditative mudra. A brass kalasha/pot sits beside him on the ground. Behind him stands a black stone Nandi bull wearing a garland of marigolds, mounted on a red pedestal, with dark stone deity statues and palm trees in the background.2011-02-28October 27 20102010-10-27February 24 20112011-02-24February 14 20112011-02-14 +4 copiesA man sits cross-legged on an orange cushion on a low wooden platform inside a circular ring of dark gravel bordered by coloured floor patterns, on a paved courtyard. He wears an orange-saffron garment over his shoulder and a dark rudraksha mala, with a red bindi on his forehead, and gazes upward with eyes half-open in meditation. Beside him sits a brass kalasha/pot. Behind him, a black stone Nandi bull wearing a yellow and red marigold garland sits on a red-brown plinth, with more black stone statues and palm and frangipani plants in the background. The pose and setting suggest a guided meditation practice.2011-02-20 +1 copies
