Close-up photograph of a puja ritual. In the foreground, a bald man in the right corner, blurred, has his head bent toward the offerings. A hand in white sleeve holds pink lotus blossoms and pours water from a silver vessel over a brass plate. Another hand on the left holds more pink lotus petals. The table holds brass and silver bowls, red rose petals, marigold-like orange flowers and white flower petals. A bangle is visible on the wrist of the pouring hand. The background shows orange and white fabric. The scene suggests a pada puja offering with lotus flowers and water.2010-10-21October 15 20102010-10-15October 29 20102010-10-29November 18 20102010-11-18 +2 copiesClose-up photograph of a ritual padapuja-style offering. A bare foot rests on a gold tray in the lower left, while hands pour water from a small silver cup over it. The person being honoured wears orange-saffron cloth draped at the ankle. Pink lotus flowers, white petals, and silver bowls holding offerings and a red apple surround the tray. Visible hands belong to attendants in white clothing, with a braided red and white wristband on one wrist. Only hands and feet are visible, so the scene shows no identifiable face.2011-09-15
