A photograph of a deity murti in a temple shrine, framed by two dark wooden door panels. The black-stone murti wears a large white and orange-red flower garland over its chest and a red flower on its crown, with silver ornaments at the head and arms. The murti is surrounded by a dense arrangement of marigolds and roses in yellow, orange, red, purple and white, with leafy greenery forming an arched backdrop. Three small oil lamps burn on a ledge in front of the murti. No people are visible.2010-09-04September 04 20102010-09-04 +1 copiesSeptember 04 20102010-09-04 +1 copiesA dark stone deity murti, with Vaishnava-style vertical white tilak on the forehead, is dressed and decorated for worship. Its raised hand is in abhaya mudra. Dense garlands of marigolds in yellow, orange, red and green frame the shrine on both sides and along the base. Brass oil lamps stand on either side, and a small figure in front, partly covered by a red garland, is also decorated with jewelled necklaces and a brown turban. The scene appears to be a festive shrine decoration. No living people are clearly visible; a partially visible figure in white at the left edge is sitting in the background.2017-12-18December 10 20072007-12-10January 01 20102010-01-01July 28 20182018-07-28October 19 20182018-10-19A photograph of a temple shrine heavily decorated with garlands of yellow marigolds and red, white and green flower strands.
