September 12 20102010-09-12A photo of a seated man in an orange saffron robe with long swept-back dark hair and a dark rudraksha mala, sitting on an ornate gold-carved throne with a red cushion. He holds a boy's hand and extends his other hand over a tray of flowers and small items. The boy, in a teal and gold brocade kurta with a visitor badge, looks down. Behind them a woman in a cream sari with a yellow shawl and a dark mala sits and watches, and a man in white with a mala stands at the left edge. Swamiji (probable): the seated saffron-robed man with long hair, rudraksha mala and gold throne. The setting is a dais or hall with a forest photo backdrop.2010-09-12A photograph of a young boy in a white kurta with an orange-and-saffron scarf bowing his head while a man in an orange-and-maroon shawl places his right hand on the boy's head. The man wears multiple rudraksha bead bracelets and a gold bangle, and his face is cut off at the top of the frame. Behind them stands a gold-toned metal deity murti with a crown-like headdress, beside a brass vessel and green leaves, and a partly visible figure in white and gold dress stands at the left edge. The setting suggests a blessing or initiation moment during a ritual.2017-07-03September 12 20102010-09-12 +1 copiesA young boy in a white top and rudraksha mala sits with eyes closed while a person's hand rests on his head and another hand holds his hand. The blessing man, seen from behind and partly in profile, wears a red-and-yellow flower garland and has long hair and a beard; he wears a dark bead mala. Beside them, a partly visible person in white and a gilded lamp stand, with a red curtain in the background. The scene resembles a darshan blessing, shown in a photograph credited to the Nithyanandapedia archive.2017-02-19A photograph of a young boy with short dark hair, eyes closed, receiving a blessing as an adult's right hand rests on his forehead. The adult wears rudraksha bracelets, a gold bangle and a gold ring, and an orange garment. The boy wears a saffron shawl printed with dark script and white clothing. Beside them stands a gold-toned deity murti with a crown-like headdress. A brass ritual vessel appears in the lower left foreground.2017-07-03April 23 20122012-04-23A photograph of a seated figure with long dark hair, wearing a rust-orange draped cloth and a reddish-orange beaded mala with a large lime-green bead necklace, placing a hand on the head of a young boy in a dark shirt who has his palms joined. Behind them a bald man in orange robes sits with his head bowed, and a man in white with a tilak and beaded necklace watches. Several people in white and orange clothing stand in the background, and a red cushioned seat is visible in the foreground. The figure appears to be Swamiji (probable), identified by long swept-back hair, rudraksha-style beads and orange ceremonial dress, performing a blessing (darshan) on the boy in what looks like a satsang setting.2013-05-12A young boy in a white shirt with rudraksha beads stands before a monk for a blessing. A monk in orange robes with long swept-back hair and a beard touches the boy's forehead, which bears a white vibhuti mark. Behind them, a second monk in orange, wearing a rudraksha shawl and gold beaded necklaces, rests a hand on the boy's shoulder. Another person in white clothing and a badge stands at the right. The setting appears to be an ashram hall with a red curtain and a gold-railed platform. This resembles a third eye initiation scene, with a child receiving a blessing from orange-robed monks.2017-02-13
