A photograph inside a temple sanctum showing a black stone shivalinga set in a round copper yoni-pitha base, decorated with white garland lines, a red mark, and scattered flowers including yellow marigolds and pink petals. A copper kalasha hangs above on a chain. A bare-backed man with long dark hair and an orange cloth wrapped around his waist reaches a hand onto the lingam in abhishekam-style worship. A second person in the lower right holds a small brass vessel and offers a flower or ritual item. A brass trident stands against the marble wall at left. The setting is white marble tiles with gold trim.

A photograph inside a temple sanctum of a Shivalinga, a black stone lingam set in a round copper-toned yoni base on white marble floor. A man seen from behind, with long dark hair and a bare back, wears an orange saffron cloth and reaches down to touch the lingam, while a woman's arm with a red bangle and a hand reach in from the right to offer flowers. Rose petals and yellow marigold petals lie around the base, a copper kalasha vessel hangs from a chain above, and a trident stands in the upper left corner.

A man with long, dark, loose hair and an orange saffron wrap bends over a shivalinga inside a temple, his right hand resting on the top of the stone lingam. The lingam is covered with marigold garlands and green leaves and is coiled by a copper five-headed cobra. A brass kalasha suspended above drips water over the lingam, while petals scatter on the black-and-white checkered floor. Other people in white and red trousers stand behind, and a trident with a rudraksha mala hangs on the wall. The scene is an abhishekam at a Shiva temple.

A photograph inside a temple sanctum showing a bare-shouldered figure with long, swept-back black hair and an orange-saffron cloth wrapped at the waist, kneeling and bending over a silver-rimmed shivalinga on a yoni pedestal. The lingam is decorated with marigold flowers, green leaves and a white floral garland, and a small silver cobra hood rises above the sanctum. Another person in white ritual clothing and a gold wristwatch reaches in from the right, while a bare-footed figure in white stands at the back. Orange and yellow flower petals and scattered offerings cover the floor, and a metal railing separates the worshippers from the shrine. This shows abhishekam-style worship of a Shiva lingam, consistent with the Ujjain Mahakaleshwar visit. The long-haired figure in orange is a probable candidate for Swamiji by appearance cues of long hair and saffron clothing.

A photograph inside a temple sanctum at a Shiva lingam shrine. A bare-chested man with long dark swept-back hair, wearing an orange saffron cloth wrap, sits at the silver-railed edge and leans toward the lingam, which is decorated with flower garlands and marigolds on a silver yoni base. Behind him, a second man in white dhoti stands barefoot beside a brass oil lamp with a lit flame on a marble ledge. A hand in a white sleeve reaches in from the right. A silver cobra hood sits beside the base, and marigold petals and flowers are scattered on the floor. The man has distinctive long hair and saffron wrap, consistent with the page's reference to a person; appearance-based identification is probable but not certain.

A man in white kurta and dhoti at right holds a small silver cup of offering toward the lingam. Behind them, a bald man in orange robes and a rudraksha-style mala stands at left, and another man in a grey-green shawl stands behind. A silver hanging lamp is suspended above, a brass naga-shaped vessel sits on a wooden platform in front, and a Sanskrit Purusha Sukta inscription is carved on the wall. A small deity shrine with a garlanded figure is at right.
