Photograph inside a temple shrine with a dark polished black stone lingam on a black yoni-shaped base, a silver hanging vessel suspended above it on chains, and a gold-carved backdrop behind. A man with long dark hair, wearing an orange-saffron dhoti and shawl, a gold beaded necklace and bangles, stands at the shrine doorway while pouring or guiding a white thread-like stream over the lingam. A second man in an orange garment kneels in the foreground beside a carved wooden door, tending the ritual. Grey marble walls and a wooden panelled door frame the scene. Appears to be an abhishekam-style ritual.

A photograph inside a marble-walled shrine showing a man with long, dark, swept-back hair and an orange-saffron shawl wrapped over his shoulders and torso, with rudraksha beads hanging at his neck. He leans forward and pours water from a hanging copper pot suspended on a chain onto a black Shiva lingam set in a round stone yoni-pedestal, a typical abhishekam. Marigold-yellow flowers and a green leaf rest near the lingam, and a trident is mounted on the wall to the left. Swamiji (probable): the long hair, saffron shawl and rudraksha cues match the page's description of him performing worship at a Shiva temple.

Photo of a person from behind performing abhishekam at a black shivalinga set in a circular basin inside a marble-tiled shrine. The figure has long, dark, wavy hair and bare shoulders, wrapped in orange-saffron cloth, and pours water from a copper pot suspended from a brass chain through a copper spout onto the linga. A second person's hand rests at the lower right of the basin. A small gold deity murti sits in a niche at the top, a silver trident is mounted on the left wall, and a broom leans against the steps at the right. Marigold petals and green leaves rest on the linga.

A photograph inside a temple sanctum of a Shivalinga, a black stone lingam set in a round copper-toned yoni base on white marble floor. A man seen from behind, with long dark hair and a bare back, wears an orange saffron cloth and reaches down to touch the lingam, while a woman's arm with a red bangle and a hand reach in from the right to offer flowers. Rose petals and yellow marigold petals lie around the base, a copper kalasha vessel hangs from a chain above, and a trident stands in the upper left corner.

A photo of a person in an orange saffron garment standing beside a black Shiva lingam set in a circular stone basin inside a marble-walled shrine. The figure has long, loose black hair and a white ash mark on the forehead, and raises one hand toward the wall. A copper pot with a spout hangs on a chain above the lingam, dripping water, and marigold and flower petals lie on the lingam and in the basin. A broom leans in the corner at right. The person is a sannyasi performing abhishekam; the figure's appearance shows long swept-back hair and saffron clothing, a person candidate, but the face is partly turned away, so identity is uncertain.

A photograph of a linga abhishekam at night. A man with long, curly dark hair and a red tilak wears orange saffron robes and a gold bead necklace, pouring liquid from a silver kalasha pot over a dark stone shivalinga on a black stone yoni peetha. Liquid streams down the linga and off the peetha. Beside him, a second man in orange robes with a gold bead garland and red tilak holds a silver vessel. A third orange-clad figure is partly visible at the left edge. Corrugated roofing and a white wall form the background.

A man with long, swept-back dark hair and a red tilak on his forehead pours water from a brass kalasha over a black stone shivalinga on a stepped peetha inside a temple. He wears an orange-saffron robe and a long necklace of rudraksha beads and gold ornaments, which marks him as a probable Swamiji (appearance cues: long hair, ornate gold and rudraksha adornment, saffron clothing). Water splashes over the linga, which is the abhishekam ritual. Behind him, other saffron-clad people stand near the linga, and a figure in a red sari sits at the right. Flower garlands in red, yellow and purple hang above, and a red-and-gold silk cloth drapes the deity area. At left, a man in orange bends forward beside a white marble statue and a brass lamp. Grey temple pillars with carved detail frame the scene.

A photograph of an abhishekam at a temple shrine. A long-haired figure in an orange saffron garment and a multi-strand gold and beaded necklace pours liquid from a golden vessel over a tall white-coated Shiva lingam set on a dark stone yoni base. Behind, a second man in white ritual clothing with a red tilak sits and attends the ritual near a small brass vessel and green leaves. To the left, a black deity murti with gold crown and ornaments sits beneath a gold arch, and at right a golden standing figure with red and white flower garlands stands beside a gold frame. Several other figures are partly visible at the lower left edge.

A photograph of an abhishekam at a temple. A long-haired man in an orange saffron robe and a rudraksha mala pours liquid from a small brass vessel over a dark black stone Shivalingam set in a large dark stone yoni-peetha basin. Behind him stands a gilded deity murti in a red and white dress with a crown and garlands, and a golden standing figure in orange cloth with red and white flower garlands. Brass oil lamps and brass vessels sit in the foreground, and two men in white and orange clothes stand in the background near the altar, with one other person partly visible at lower right.

A man with long, voluminous curly dark hair and an orange saffron garment draped over one shoulder pours water from a polished brass kalasha pot over a dark stone linga during an abhishekam. He wears a gold-beaded rudraksha-style mala and a red tilak on his forehead. A second person in orange clothing, partly visible, stands behind the linga with hands near the base. Water streams down the black linga onto a golden yoni-peetha base, and a brass vessel sits at the lower left. Warm lamp light fills the dim temple interior.
