A photograph of a temple shrine during a ceremony honouring a pair of gilded metal murtis seated on a vahana, decorated with garlands of yellow, magenta and purple flowers. A man in a long orange robe and a long-haired, orange-turbaned figure stands at the centre, reaching forward to touch the forehead of the figure on the right, who wears a crown and gold necklaces. A second attendant in a pale peach-brown robe stands at the left holding a brass plate with offerings. A bull statue with flowers, a gold-framed arch and a tall brass lamp stand complete the scene.2008-12-31December 28 20082008-12-28 +1 copiesJanuary 01 20082008-01-01December 14 20112011-12-14 +1 copiesPhoto 11738315 +1 copiesDecember 31 20082008-12-31December 14 20112011-12-14 +1 copiesDecember 28 20082008-12-28 +1 copiesDecember 15 20112011-12-15 +1 copiesJuly 07 20092009-07-07A photograph inside a temple-style shrine showing a gold-framed arch above a large deity murti pair, a seated figure with a crown and orange turban and a standing consort in red and gold, both heavily adorned with jewelled necklaces and garlands. In front, a golden kalasha-like murti sits in a bed of marigold and red garlands on a golden base. Two people stand at left: a figure in a long-sleeved orange robe holding a plate with offerings, and a figure with long dark hair in a sleeveless orange top and orange skirt, reaching toward the deity. A small white figure in red robes wearing a garland sits at the bottom centre, and brass oil lamps stand on the lower left.2008-12-31A photograph inside a temple shrine showing a large bronze or gold-coloured deity murti of a male figure with a tall crown and a female figure in a purple and gold silk sari, both heavily adorned with necklaces and jewelled ornaments. The shrine is decorated with bands of marigold and white flower garlands in yellow, red and white. A figure in a long-haired orange-clad robe stands at the left in front of the murti, bowing or offering worship, with a brass lamp and floral garlands nearby. A second person in orange sits partially visible at the far left edge. The scene suggests puja or abhishekam decoration at the shrine.2008-01-01
