A long-haired figure in orange robes stands at center, pouring liquid from a small vessel while reaching toward a shrine. Behind the shrine, a large seated deity murti in red turban and jewelled ornaments sits beside a consort figure in green-and-gold sari, both decorated with bright yellow and red marigold garlands. In front of the shrine sits a small figure in orange robes wearing a white and red flower garland, and a brass pot with marigolds stands at lower left. A standing figure in brown robes presses palms together at left, and a seated person in orange robes with folded hands sits near the centre-left. The scene reads as a puja or abhishekam at a shrine.A photograph of a temple puja at an outdoor-sheltered shrine. A young man with long dark hair and a headband, wearing an orange saffron robe and a beaded necklace, holds a lit oil lamp (deepam) in one hand and a small bell or ritual object in the other, offering it before the deities. To the left, a priest in white dhoti with gold border holds a silver aarti plate. Behind them, two large deity murtis, one in red and orange with a crown and a second in orange with jewelry, are heavily garlanded with yellow, white, red and purple flower garlands. In front, a white-and-saffron seated figure wearing an orange robe and a red turban-style headpiece, also garlanded, sits on a golden base. Orange and maroon cloths drape the scene. This appears to be an aarti offering.2010-12-27A man with long, swept-back curly hair stands at left in an orange saffron garment with gold-bordered edges, holding a handbell in one hand and raising a lit flame on a brass aarti lamp with the other. In front of him, a deity murti is richly decorated with layered garlands of yellow marigolds, white jasmine, pink and magenta blossoms, and a gold crown with hanging ornaments. Brass oil lamps, a kalasha-like vessel and a decorated altar with flower garlands surround the scene, with a red curtain and a hanging of marigolds behind. Smoke rises from the flame.2007-01-01December 27 20092009-12-27A photo of a long-haired man in saffron-orange robes standing before a golden shivalinga, wrapped in garlands of red, yellow, white and purple flowers, beside a brass oil lamp with a bird-shaped top. He wears a red tilak on his forehead and is touching the garlands with his hands. Behind him, a younger attendant in orange robes and a beaded necklace stands holding a tray. Golden deity murti decorations, jewelled ornaments and additional flower garlands fill the background, with green foliage visible outside. The scene suggests a pooja setting, with the man in saffron and rudraksha-style visible cues described as a person.2009-12-23
