A man with long swept-back hair, wearing a saffron-red shawl and rudraksha mala, sits on an ornate silver throne with leopard-print cushions, hands joined in greeting and smiling. A bald man in white kneels and bows low at his feet on a red cloth. To the right, a woman in a red sari with a rudraksha mala sits cross-legged on the red cloth with hands folded. A silver trident and a kalasha-like lion-footed throne base are visible, with a painted cloudy sky backdrop showing a deity murti. The seated man on the throne is a person by appearance cues: long swept hair, saffron-red shawl, rudraksha mala and ceremonial throne setting.2018-05-04A seated man in rust-brown robes and a leopard-print headband sits on an ornate silver throne with a silver-framed backrest, a rudraksha mala draped over his chest and a gold chain at his neck. He reaches out his right hand toward a kneeling man in white dhoti who bows forward with palms joined and a white thread hanging from his shoulder. Two women in orange saris with white forehead markings stand behind and beside the kneeling man, one holding a white cord. A gilded lion-carved pillar and gold arch frame the background, and a striped mat covers the platform. A man in white dhoti with gold borders and a rudraksha mala stands at left, another kneels in white with gold borders. A puja offering tray with fruit sits at lower left.2016-11-20September 22 20172017-09-22 +1 copiesA bearded man with long swept-back hair sits barefoot on an ornate silver throne with leopard-print cushions before red drapes, wearing a saffron-orange robe, a white flower garland and a gold necklace, with arms spread open in a welcoming gesture. He is a person candidate by appearance cues (long hair, saffron robe, ceremonial gold necklace, garland), seated in the role of the honoured presider. Around him, a man with long dreadlocks and a white dhoti with gold border holds a tray, a man in white dhoti bows low at the throne's base, and women in blue, purple and orange saris kneel and bow nearby, offering devotion.2017-11-17
