Close photograph of a decorated deity murti of Shiva in a gilded cobra-hood shaped crown and back arch, wearing a saffron-orange cloth wrapped around the head, with green leaves tucked beside it. White jasmine garlands, magenta flower strands and a dense dark rudraksha mala with gold beads hang across the figure, with gold ornaments and jeweled armlets visible. Gold and green-tinted earrings or pendants dangle from the top, and a gold girdle with bells sits below. The figure is a statue or murti, not a living person, and the scene is a temple setting with a blurred background.2011-11-25June 11 20132013-06-11November 27 20112011-11-27 +1 copiesA photograph of a ceremonial seated figure framed by an ornate golden cobra-hood canopy, with the seat covered in gold scale-patterned metalwork. The figure wears an orange turban and is adorned with long strands of dark rudraksha beads, white and pink flower garlands, and a purple flower garland; green leaves are tucked behind the turban. Gold and green hanging ornaments decorate the top of the canopy. The figure's face is not shown and no physical person is visible, so this is a deity murti or ceremonial decoration rather than a living person.2011-11-25A decorated deity murti, not a living person, is the main subject: a dark stone figure dressed in an orange and gold-bordered cloth wrapped as a turban-like crown, topped with a red rose. A golden multi-hooded serpent canopy with five green-jewelled hoods arches overhead. The figure wears a white and gold sash, a jewelled gold band with diamond-like stones, a red-and-green jewelled pendant, and a long rudraksha mala draped across the chest. Thick white jasmine garlands and red flower garlands frame the figure, and a gold kalasha-style ornament sits at the base. Blurred pink fabric and gold decor fill the background.2012-04-26Close-up photograph of a gold cobra-hood canopy with scale-patterned metal over a deity murti draped in orange cloth and green leaves.
