November 12 20172017-11-12A seated man in rust-red saffron robes with long dreadlocks and a gold-bead necklace presses his palms to the forehead of a bare-chested devotee in a white dhoti, who kneels before him. A second saffron-robed attendant with a rudraksha mala and white markings on his arms stands at left, holding the devotee's shoulder. Behind them are large floral garlands in yellow and red, a silver trident, a brass lamp, and a leopard-print cushioned seat. A white cord is draped over the devotee's shoulder. The scene appears to be a satsang initiation ritual on a stage.2018-04-19Photograph of a group of young men and women in saffron-orange ritual wraps, many bare-chested with white ash markings on their arms and foreheads, standing in a hall. Several hold cupped handfuls of yellow prasad and bring them to their mouths. The central man wears wooden rudraksha beads and a bracelet of beads, and his hair is tied up in a loose knot; the people around him have long, flowing dreadlocked hair. Behind them a gold-toned decorated wall and a blurred pale background suggest a temple or ashram setting.2017-07-03November 12 20172017-11-12November 12 20172017-11-12March 04 20182018-03-04July 27 20142014-07-27July 14 20132013-07-14 +1 copiesPhoto 11710655 +2 copiesJuly 07 20092009-07-07A photograph of a young shirtless man with curly dark hair and white tripundra ash on his forehead, wearing an orange saffron dhoti and orange shawl with a rudraksha mala across his chest, holding a heap of yellow flower petals or turmeric-coloured offering in both cupped hands. He holds a small metal cup and a spoon-like implement over offerings laid on the sand, including a yellow gourd, green limes, red and yellow flower petals and a brass plate of petals. Beside him a shirtless man in a black turban and rudraksha mala sits with eyes closed, and another person's hand extends into the frame.
