A man seated cross-legged on a red cushioned throne with a large ornate gold repoussé backdrop behind him. He has eyes closed in meditation, long dark hair swept back, a white sandalwood tilak with red kumkum on his forehead, and a gold necklace over a rust-orange robe with gold-bordered shawl. Long gold-bead malas hang on his chest, and a red thread is tied on his wrist. His hands rest on his knees holding small offerings. Beside him stands a gold-coloured deity murti of a standing female figure, and a brass oil lamp sits at the lower left. Red and gold garlands decorate the right edge. The scene suggests a seated sannyasi-style figure, matching the a person cues, meeting the depiction of a ceremonial stage.2017-08-16August 16 20172017-08-16A photograph of a smiling man seated on an ornate gilded throne with a large repoussé halo-shaped back, a red cushion beneath him.
