The statue is draped in layered gold and jewelled necklaces set with a large blue stone pendant, and is surrounded by garlands of yellow marigolds, red roses, pink and white flower strands and green foliage. The setting appears to be an indoor shrine with a warm wall behind. No physical people are visible. This is a statue, so a person is depiction.2014-06-28 +1 copiesJuly 02 20152015-07-02December 12 20162016-12-12A gold-coloured statue of a seated sage in a maroon-red turban with a silver-jewelled band and a maroon robe with gold border, adorned with yellow marigold and red rose garlands and a red-and-silver jewelled necklace. The statue raises one hand in blessing. Brass oil lamps flank it on a striped cloth, and behind it hang blue and red silk cloths and a framed portrait of a saffron-robed figure with raised hand. The statue is a murti, not a living person.2022-01-08February 28 20182018-02-28
