April 30 20152015-04-30A golden statue of a seated guru figure in a meditative pose with legs crossed, right hand raised in blessing and left hand resting on the knee. The figure wears a rust-red turban decorated with white shell-like trim and a jewelled brooch, a red-brown robe, a thick layered necklace of rudraksha beads, a gold-and-diamond necklace, a jewelled waist belt and a gold-bordered sash. Large garlands of marigolds, roses and white jasmine frame the statue on both sides against a green draped backdrop, with a green brocade cushion beneath. This is a statue depiction, not a living person.2015-04-25 +1 copiesMay 16 20142014-05-16January 04 20152015-01-04January 05 20152015-01-05Photo 11737866A life-sized figure seated cross-legged on an ornate throne, dressed in a rust-orange turban and orange-red dhoti with a gold-bordered sash. The upper body is covered in layered rudraksha beads and red and white stone ornaments, with gold pendants and earrings. Gold hand-shaped ornaments cover the forearms and hands. The throne is draped in red velvet and silver floral embroidery, with a purple and gold brocade cushion below and a green cloth beside. Behind it hang gold and silver curtains. The face is a sculpted, painted figure rather than a living person. This is a statue, so no physical people are present.2015-10-06September 30 20142014-09-30November 26 20142014-11-26Photo 116864132014-03-08November 05 20132013-11-05July 30 20132013-07-30
