A seated figure in a red-orange robe with a large gold-and-rudraksha bead necklace and a white-and-red forehead mark places his right hand on the crown of a second seated person's head, in a blessing gesture. The person receiving the blessing wears a red shawl over a white garment and has his palms pressed together. Behind them are ornate gold carved lion-head armrests of a throne, a silver staff-like ceremonial rod, a white wall-mounted air conditioner and vertical striped panels. The setting appears to be a satsang hall, and the scene is a photograph showing a blessing with a hand on the head.2014-08-27A photograph of a guru-disciple blessing in a ceremonial hall with red drapes. A man in a saffron-orange robe with a white forehead mark and a dark hair knot sits on a gold-ornamented seat and extends his right hand onto the head of a kneeling devotee. The devotee wears a white shirt, an orange-red shawl with printed text, and a rudraksha bracelet, and holds his palms together. Behind the blessing stands a silver staff with a finial and a peacock-feather fan, beside a golden lion-form armrest. The appearance is consistent with a person, seated in a saffron robe with a white tilak and a dark hair knot; the blessing is given in the seated role of a guru.2014-07-20A seated man in saffron-orange robes and a gold-and-black bead garland sits on a throne draped with red fabric, smiling and extending his open hand toward a kneeling devotee. The seated man has long swept-back dark hair and a red tilak on his forehead, and wears a rudraksha-style bead garland; he appears to be a probable Swamiji by appearance, with saffron robes, ornate gold-and-bead garland and long hair. The kneeling devotee, in white clothing with an orange shawl, leans forward with head bowed toward him. Behind them stand a gold-coloured deity murti with a lion-like face, a silver trident, and a peacock-feather fan, with a gold ornamental backdrop and red wooden lattice panels.2014-09-01July 23 20142014-07-23August 30 20142014-08-30August 20 20132013-08-20 +1 copiesDecember 06 20102010-12-06A photo of a seated figure in a rust-orange turban, wearing an orange-and-gold robe and a beaded rudraksha-style mala necklace, placing a hand on the forehead of a standing man with curly dark hair who has his palms pressed together in namaste. The man wears a white kurta and an orange shawl printed with text. Behind them is a deep red drape and a gilded throne-like chair with ornate carving, and a partially visible woman in orange appears at the right edge. The gesture resembles a blessing or darshan. The seated figure's distinctive turban, orange robe and mala are consistent with the page's claim of Swamiji's presence, so this is a probable identification from appearance cues.2015-10-25A seated figure on a gilded golden throne with lion-head armrests and a peacock-feather fan behind him wears a red-orange shawl, a long gold-and-black bead necklace, and a white tilak on his forehead, while a shaved-headed devotee in a white shirt kneels and bows toward him, touching the red shawl draped over the armrest. A silver staff with a finial stands beside the throne, and a woman with a tilak is partly visible at the right edge. The setting is a red-and-white room with wooden latticework and an air conditioner. Swamiji (probable) is the seated figure, identified by his long swept-back hair, ornate gold bead garland and saffron-orange shawl, receiving a devotee's obeisance.2014-08-27 +1 copiesAugust 29 20142014-08-29 +1 copiesDecember 26 20142014-12-26A seated figure in a rust-orange saffron-toned robe with gold border sits before an ornate gold-leaf throne with repoussé floral and scrollwork motifs and red velvet armrests.
