A golden-complexioned statue of a deity, not a living person, is dressed and decorated for worship. It wears a tall white and red layered crown, a red bindi and an ornate gold and gem-set necklace layered with rudraksha malas. A leopard-print shawl drapes over the shoulders, and it holds a silver ritual rod (damaru-like) in one hand. Behind it stand heaped garlands of red roses, yellow marigolds, white jasmine and purple flowers, with a trident-like staff at the upper right. The statue is a deity murti in a flower-decorated shrine setting.
