January 02 20142014-01-02A seated man in a rust-orange dhoti and shawl sits cross-legged on an ornate gold throne with carved lion heads, on a tiger-skin cushion over a red velvet seat. He wears a heavy gold bead necklace over rudraksha malas, gold armlets and bangles, and a red bindi. Both hands are raised, palms open, as he speaks, with a lapel microphone clipped to his clothing. Behind him stand painted deity figures with gold ornaments. The appearance-based cues of long swept-back hair, saffron clothing, rudraksha malas and ceremonial gold necklaces are consistent with the Swamiji (probable) label for the figure seated on the throne, who is delivering a satsang discourse.2013-05-28 +1 copiesA man seated cross-legged on a tiger-skin rug in front of an ornate gilded throne with carved lion heads on its armrests and a large gold arched backrest.
