Several deity figures are adorned with marigold garlands and gold ornaments, with brass lamps standing on either side. In the foreground a bare-shouldered figure in a rust-red cloth with long braided hair and bangles bends forward toward the altar, apparently in worship. The stone pillars carry carved reliefs and the shrine is lit by daylight from the side.2016-12-14December 14 20162016-12-14A temple shrine with gold-framed arches and red drapes shows three figures: a statue on the left wearing a blue turban, a garland of pink and white flowers and a blue-and-gold garment, and a central seated deity murti with a red crown, crescent ornament and rudraksha-like necklaces, holding a trident and a small kalasha-like object, with a green cloth beneath. Behind them are gilded deity murtis: a central figure with multiple arms and a crown, flanked by two standing figures, one holding a staff. Multicoloured marigold garlands drape the central murti, a kalasha-like vessel sits at its base, and brass oil lamps stand on either side. The devotee appears to be a priest or devotee performing puja. Sculpted stone carvings frame the scene.2017-01-01March 02 20182018-03-02A photograph of a temple shrine with a large deity murti of Shiva and Parvati seated at the centre under a golden arch, framed by red curtains. Shiva's linga is adorned with flower garlands and a crown-like ornament. Two standing sculptures flank the shrine: one holding a trident in a pink and green garment with a rudraksha-style necklace, and one in a dark patterned garment with a red turban. In the lower right, a person in an orange-brown robe with long dark hair stands with hands raised in a devotional gesture, holding a flower garland, facing the shrine. Yellow and purple cloth drapes the altar base, with small orange-clad figures and marigold offerings in front. The stone plinth is carved with floral and geometric motifs.2018-03-02A temple scene before a golden deity pair seated on a red-draped throne, with an ornate golden arch edged in marigold garlands in yellow, orange, red and purple. A woman in a red and gold-bordered sari with a long braid bends forward with palms pressed together in namaskar before a black shiva lingam set on a dark stone yoni pedestal. Behind her, attendants in red and saffron cloths stand near a silver vessel and small brass figures. On the right, a golden statue of a sage in an orange-and-black garland of marigolds stands on a green cloth. The setting is a temple sanctum with stone carvings and a pillar. The visible people are the woman and two attendants.2015-01-13A photograph of a temple shrine with a figure in an orange sleeveless top and orange dhoti seen from behind, standing with hands joined in front of a golden-bordered arched niche. Inside the niche stand two colourful deity murti: one with a trident and a red crown wearing a green and yellow garment, and a companion in a yellow and pink skirt. Both are draped with multicoloured garlands. Gold oil lamps flank the shrine, and a gold vessel and a small green-clad figure sit at the base. A carved gold-trimmed seat with lion heads is in the foreground.2010-10-13 +1 copies
